Does Manifestation Work?
“Manifestation” can describe very different practices. Visualization, clarifying goals and repeatedly directing attention toward a priority can support planning or motivation. The stronger claim — that thoughts alone cause desired external events — requires evidence that is not established by simply showing that mindset affects behavior.
A more useful model
Goal → attention → planning → repeated action → feedback → adjustment is a plausible pathway. Removing the action and feedback stages turns a practical psychological tool into a much stronger claim.
Visualization is not the same as outcome certainty
Imagining a desired future may help some people define what they want, but concrete planning and behavior remain essential.
